What is woodcut printmaking? Woodcut printmaking is the oldest technique used in fine art printmaking. Would you like to try your hand at this age-old craft? You will get a chance to try your hand at this form of relief printing where first a drawing is made on a piece of wood and the untouched areas are then cut away with tools leaving the raised image which is then inked for use.

About the Artist
Amit Lodh is an artist from Mumbai and has done his M.V.A in printmaking from M. S. University of Baroda and B.F.A (Painting) from Khairagadh, Chattisgarh. He has been participating in Art camps and exhibitions in India and international shows with Art fair in Dubai, ASYAAF Korea. He will be joined by artists in the ongoing cycle of the Piramal Art Residency.
